🌱 Cobb Elections Board Open House + Mountain View Library New Hours

First, today's weather:

A t-storm around in the p.m. High: 89 Low: 71.

Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:

1. The Cobb Board of Elections and Registration will be hosting an Open House at its new location. The office recently moved operations to 995 Roswell Street in Marietta, near the Big Chicken. The open house will feature a job fair to fill vacant positions in preparation for the Nov. 8 General Election. (East Cobb News)
2. The fire at the Cobb County Public Safety building has reportedly been contained by responding crews. The incident occurred on the building's fourth floor. According to county officials, the fire will not be impacting any court operations. Thankfully, no injuries occurred during the incident. (WSB Atlanta)
3. Sunday operating hours will return to Marietta's Mountain View Regional Library on Sep. 11. The library will once again operate between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. The Charles D. Switzer Library, South Cobb Regional Library, and the West Cobb Regional Library will also be reinstating Sunday hours. (Cobb County Courier)
