Please join the Marietta Museum of History for our Evening With History: Winecoff Fire to be held in the Virginia Tumlin Community Room. Author Chet Wallace will be returning to present his research on the deadliest hotel fire in the nation. This 1946 Atlanta tragedy is one many Cobb Countians still remember today.

Cost: $5 for not yet members and free for Museum members. Museum members also receive a 20 percent discount in the Museum Store.

The museum uses ordinary objects to tell the extraordinary stories of Marietta and Cobb County. Galleries and exhibits cover topics such as military history, home life throughout the centuries, technology, and local businesses from our past. Current temporary exhibits include: The Man with the Camera: Photographs by Raymond T. Burford, open till Aug. 2020 and Made by Her Hands: The Beauty, Warmth and Stories of Local Quilting.
