Glover Park Concert Series Returns To Marietta
The city of Marietta released the concert schedule for its 2021 Glover Park Concert Series, which begins Friday.
MARIETTA, GA — Enjoy live music and food from the many restaurants at the Marietta Square this summer, because the city's 2021 Glover Park Concert Series kicks off Friday.
The concert series takes place on the last Friday of the month through September, plus one Saturday in August. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. and are free to the public.
Table reservations are available a first-come, first-served basis and open on the first working day of the month at 8 a.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and food to the concert, or check out one of the restaurants near the park.

Parking is free and available on the street, at the city hall parking deck (located at 205 Lawrence Street) and at the Care Here of Marietta parking lot (located at 268 Lawrence Street).

- May 28: Grapevine Band (variety party band)
- June 25: Kasper & 911 Band (motown/R&B)
- July 30: Next Level Band (beach/oldies)
- Aug. 27: Glow Band (classic pop)
- Aug. 28: Paradocs (country/rock)
- Sept. 24: The Big Chicken Beatle Band (hits of The Beatles)
Guests are also invited to bring their own picnic tables, or reserve one of the city's available ones, for the Spirited Award and Table Decorating Contest, presented by realtor Linda Eroh. Judges will wonder through the area looking for groups with outstanding displays, unique style, most spirited, creative costumes and best theme of the evening entertainment.
Judging takes place prior to each concert from 7:15-7:45 p.m., and the grand prize winner (or winners) will be announced during opening remarks for the concert. Each winner will receive prizes plus a coupon from the Glover Park Brewery. Winners can include groups celebrating graduations, birthdays and holiday themes.
There is no cost to participate and registration is not necessary.
Table reservations are sold out for the May 28 concert, but reservations open at 8 a.m. June 1 for the June 25 concert. Visit the Glover Park concert series page to reserve a table.
