MARIETTA, GA — The founder of a transitional housing nonprofit in Atlanta was arrested and charged Thursday in Marietta with one felony count of false statements and writings, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.
The GBI said that Derek "Al" Sneed, 39, was selling community service hour certifications in exchange for cash at his Atlanta nonprofit, Alliance of Dreams.
