Marietta PD Check Point Nets 25 Arrests
Arrests range from traffic and drug offenses to wanted persons located.

On Friday, June 20, 2014, officers from the Marietta Police Department organized and conducted a joint Safety Check Point on Franklin Road in an effort to help ensure the roadways were safe for Marietta drivers. The check point yielded the following results:
25 arrests – ranging from traffic and drug offenses to wanted persons located
55 citations – ranging from traffic to DUI offenses
