- The Marietta History Center will be hosting "The Tragedy of War: Japanese American Internment" exhibit starting on Sep. 10. The exhibit is part of its ongoing series of traveling exhibits from Kennesaw State University’s Museum of History and Holocaust Education and will run through Friday, Oct. 7. The Marietta History Center, in the historic Kennesaw House building, is located at 1 Depot Street. (Cobb County Courier)
- The North Georgia State Fair will feature special events for seniors 55 years and older on Sep. 23. The fair is held at Jim Miller Park in Marietta. - The deadline to apply for American Rescue Plan Act money through Cobb County is on Friday. The county was given $147 million through the federal program.
