  1. Cobb County Commissioner Jerica Richardson will be hosting a virtual meeting on Saturday to discuss county issues and proposed code amendments. The meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. through Zoom. The main focus of the meeting will be to discuss regulations on Airbnb short-term rentals and the inspection of multi-family rental housing units. Click to register for the meeting. (East Cobb News)
  2. Matthew Carlisle has been arrested on peeping tom, sexual battery, and disorderly conduct charges. According to the Marietta Police Department, Carlisle walked into the women's shower at Marietta's LA Fitness and inappropriately touched a woman. He has also been accused of peeping through windows and doors to spy on individuals. He is being held at the Cobb County Detention Center. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Frenzy will be on Sep. 7. This free event is open to the public at The Avenue West Cobb. There will be food samples, face painting, inflatables, and giveaways. Truck owners will be on-site to explain how the vehicles operate. (CBS 46 News)
