Woman's Body Recovered From Lake Acworth: Reports
A 46-year-old woman disappeared from a raft in Lake Acworth at Cauble Park over the weekend. Her body was recovered Sunday.
COBB COUNTY, GA — A body of a woman was recovered Sunday in Lake Acworth, according to police.
The woman, identified as 46-year-old Darla Frey of Rockmart, had been on a raft in Lake Acworth at Cauble Park around 5 p.m. Friday. The woman disappeared and was assumed to have drowned, police said.
The Cobb County Police Department Dive Team recovered the body in Lake Acworth, near where she was last seen around 4425 Beach Street.

In addition to Cobb County police divers, the Department of Natural Resources and the Cobb County Fire Department also assisted in searching and finding Frey's body.
