$4,000 Worth of Freon Stolen From Norcross Business
Ten cans of R-22 freon were reportedly taken from United Air Temp off Business Park Drive last month. Each can is valued at $400.

Thousands of dollars worth of freon were reportedly stolen in a commercial burglary in Norcross late last month.Â
According to the Norcross Police report, the manager of United Air Temp, located at 3030 Business Park Drive told police approximately 10 cans of R-22 freon was taken, with each can valued at $400. That's a total of $4,000 worth of items taken.
An employee walked arrived at the location early one morning and noticed the right window pane shattered. There was also yellow paint transfer on a pole near the business, which the manager believes could be bolt cutters or another tool used to break the chain and padlock to get to the freon.
The manager couldn't think of anyone responsible, but believes it could be someone familiar with or close to the business. No suspects are listed in the incident report.
