• Gwinnett County apartment fire started by porch grilling (fox5atlanta.com) — Thirteen people were displaced on Christmas Day after a balcony grill sparked a fire at the MAA Pleasant Hill Apartments on Pleasant Hill Road in Norcross, destroying two units but causing no injuries. Fire officials ruled the blaze accidental and are urging residents not to grill or cook on porches or balconies.
