70-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies In Crash Monday Morning
A 70-year-old motorcyclist died Monday morning, in unincorporated Norcross, βin an accident involving three vehicles, police said.

NORCROSS, GA -- A 70-year-old motorcyclist died Monday morning, in unincorporated Norcross, in an accident involving three vehicles, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Miguel Maldonado-Lemus, of Lilburn, was thrown off his motorcycle and hit by another car, police said.
Maldonado-Lemus was driving a black motorcycle and police believe he was attempting to make a right turn onto Singleton Road from a private drive.

The driver of a gray Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Singleton Road in the left lane.
Maldonado-Lemus turned in front of the Toyota causing them to collide. He was thrown off the motorcycle and landed in the westbound lanes. While he was in the lying in the roadway, he was struck by a gray Nissan Sentra traveling westbound on Singleton Road.

Maldonado-Lemus died as a result of his injuries. There were no other reported injuries to the other drivers. They both remained at the scene.
The Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the accident. The incident took place around 1 a.m. on Singleton Road near Thompson Parkway in unincorporated Norcross. There were three vehicles involved. Notification has been made to the next-of-kin.
All three vehicles were impounded to GCPD Headquarters for further analysis.
