Boy Injured, Teen Suspected In Norcross Shooting: Police

The boy was taken to Arthur Blank Hospital and is expected to survive after the Norcross shooting, police say.

NORCROSS, GA β€” An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot by a 15-year-old Sunday in the 2500 block of Gwinn Drive, Gwinnett County Police said Monday.

After the shooting, which happened around 7 p.m., the boy was taken to Arthur Blank Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

It was not immediately known if charges were being pressed in the case. Few details are known.

"This is very early, and due to the ages, there is very little else that we can release. We are treating this as an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public related to this incident," police said in a news brief sent to Patch.
