Zapata is located on Jones Street in Historic Norcross and serves authentic Mexican cuisine. It has tex-mex dishes such as quesadillas. But it also serves more authentic Mexican dishes such as mole, molcajete (a meal cooked in a volcanic stone pot) and authentic soups. It also has a fully stocked tequilla bar. This is a Patch-reviewed 5-star restaurant.

Mojitos

The Cuban-American restaurant on Peachtree Street strives to make every meal as good as a home-cooked one. There is a comfortable atmosphere inside of this restaurant, which displays a small stage and musical instruments for performances. There's also outdoor seating and a bar, and its owners play live music on the weekends. This is a Patch-reviewed 5-star restaurant.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Right by Interstate 85 and Jimmy Carter Boulevard sits a little slice of New Orleans. With its lovely walled-in garden patio, walking into Pappadeaux's gives you the feeling of walking into a different city altogether. This Cajun-Creole seafood restaurant is part of a small, family-owned chain operating in nine cities within five states.

Kudzu Art Zone

Kudzu Art Zone and Gallery is a local studio and exhibition space in Norcross that promotes fine arts within the community. The facility offers classes, activities, an open studio, special events, exhibits and more.

Lionheart Theatre

There is almost always something interesting, funny or inspirational playing at the Lionheart Theatre. This community theatre is located in the chapel of the historic Norcross Presbyterian Church, which is now a city-owned community center. The shows are typically at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday, with the exception of children's performances. This is a dessert theatre, meaning that all tickets come with a sweet and a beverage. Wine is also available at some shows for $2 per glass.

Picnic in the Park

You've got a lot of creative license here. Stop by the Bleu House Market or load up at Kroger for some bread, cheese, wine and cupcakes. It's the perfect weather right now too. See our list of parks in Norcross here.
