Jazz in the Alley Rescheduled for June 29

The May 11th event in downtown Norcross was cancelled due to weather conditions.

After a days and nights of rain these past few months, Jazz in the Alley is finally being rescheduled for next weekend.

The event was originally planned for May 11, but it will now take place Saturday, June 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Historic Downtown Norcross' newly renovated Skin Alley area behind the shops on South Peachtree Street.

The free concert will have national jazz fusion artist Eric Thomas performing covers and fusion originals while Nicole "Velvet Voyce" Sweeney, the voice of jazz on WCLK 91.9FM, will host the evening, as Eric Thomas creates a romantic evening of jazz covers and fusion originals.

It's recommended that attendees bring lawn chairs and blankets since seating is limited. If you don't eat beforehand, grab a picnic or to-go dinner while you're at it, too; just make sure nothing's in a glass container.
