Lillian Webb Park Closed July 8-12

The city of Norcross is temporarily closing Lillian Webb Park for public use from Monday, July 8, to Friday, July 12. 

According to the city website, Norcross' Parks & Reccreation plans to schedule their regular annual maintenance program after this year's Independence Day celebration.

Parks Superintendent Mary Beth Bender said the planned maintenance includes treating the grass, and during that regular process, repairing any damage sustained from the July 3rd event.

The July 3rd event didn't include fireworks, but it did include music and booths--which still drew in crowds in ponchos and umbrellas.
