More Norcross Transportation Work Approved by Gwinnett BOC

The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners kept up an active pace of transportation improvements at Tuesday's meeting.

Among the projects approved were:

• approval of a revised amount of $2.2 million to improvements to Old Norcross Roadway improvements, and Old Norcross Roadway improvements at Shetley Creek Bridge, in the Lawrenceville/Norcross area;
• a contract with E.R. Snell Co. for $12 million, for resurfacing roads countywide;
• a contract with Pittman Construction for a revised amount of $631,000 to close out the Southbridge Road project in the Loganville/Lithonia area;
• authorizing an Intergovernmental Agreement with Duluth for that city to maintain West Lawrenceville Road and McClure Bridge Road.
