Police Still Looking for Primary Suspect in Norcross-Area Homicide; Charges Dropped for Second Suspect
Brandy Leeanne Coker, who was arrested in early June in connection to the killing of Dewayne Jackson at a Norcross motel, has had murder and aggravated assault charges against her dismissed. The primary suspect, Tony Craig, is still on the loose.

The murder and aggravated assault charges against Brandy Leeanne Coker, who was arrested in early June in connection to the killing of Dewayne Jackson at a Norcross-area motel, have been dismissed.Â
According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, the charges were dropped following a hearing held Thursday. Now, she's being charged with making false statements, which is still a felony that can lead to a sentence of one to five years if convicted.
Jail records indicate that the Conyers woman remains in the Gwinnett County Jail as of Wednesday afternoon, which is due to a hold for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, the GDP reports.

He is a 26-year-old black male who stands at 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. His hair may be in small braids or cornrows, or may have been cut short following the murder. He also may be driving a black 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Gwinnett Police have indicated that they believe Jackson's death was not a random act. The 33-year-old Decatur male was found outside a hotel room at the Ramada Inn on Oakbrook Parkway on June 8.Â
