Storage Business Robber Hits 2 Locations, Police Say
The robberies happened a little more than an hour apart on the same day, Gwinnett Police said.
Gwinnett Police are looking for a person in connection with two robberies on the same day at two storage businesses.
Investigators believe the same man robbed the Public Storage at 1856 Riverside Parkway near Lawrenceville and Pleasantdale Storage at 2370 Pleasantdale Road in southern Gwinnett near the DeKalb County line.
The robberies happened a little more than an hour apart on Nov. 3, police said in a news release.

In both cases, the suspect demanded money from the cash register and threatened to shoot the employee. No weapon was seen, however, police said.
Police said surveillance cameras at Pleasantdale Storage showed the suspect being dropped off and picked up by a black Volvo.

“The lead investigator assigned to these cases believes that these crimes were committed by the same suspect,” Gwinnett Police Public Information Officer Cpl. Michele Pihera said.
Suspect Description (from GCPD)
- Race / Sex: Black / Male
- Height: 5-10 to 6-01
- Weight: 180-200 lbs.
- Approximate age: 20-30 years old
- Clothing: dark pants, black jacket (not zipped), white button-up shirt, plain black t-shirt underneath, tan boots, black baseball cap with white logo, white headphones
Vehicle Description
- Make / Model: Volvo / possibly S90
- Year: possibly 1998
- Color: black or dark
- Features: sunroof, tinted rear windows
Pihera said the suspect may also be responsible for robberies in Doraville and DeKalb County.
