Subway Robber Returns For Sandwich: Police
A man jumped over the counter at a Subway restaurant in Norcross Oct. 9 and stole about $100 before returning for his sandwich, police say.

NORCROSS, GA – A man jumped over the counter at a Subway restaurant in Norcross Oct. 9 and stole about $100 before returning for his sandwich, police say.
Detectives are searching for Zachary P. Miller, 34, who, they say, robbed a Subway, at 3230 Medlock Bridge Road, unincorporated Norcross, at about 10:15 a.m. He is described as being 6’03” and 220 pounds, driving a black 2003 Acura 3TS 4-door, with Tennessee plate R9230J
Miller ordered a sandwich like a normal customer, according to police, and at checkout, he climbed over the counter, demanded cash, and attempted the open the cash register drawer. He obtained about $100 in cash and ran to the door, but then immediately returned and collected his sandwich. Police say he then fled the scene on foot with sandwich in hand. No vehicle was seen during this incident. Miller never produced a weapon during this incident, police say.

Miller has multiple active warrants out of Tennessee and multiple jurisdictions in Georgia, according to police.
