Nearly $2K in electronics taken from Peachwood Circle home
A television and a computer worth nearly $2,000 were stolen from a Peachwood Circle home this week, DeKalb County police said.

The homeowner, who lives at the 2300 block of Peachwood Circle, told police he left apartment at 7pm Saturday and discovered the items had been stolen Sunday. The burglar through a rear window, and there were no signs of forced entry, the police report said.

Car vandalized for parking lot
A Gables Way resident believes someone poured juice or paint on his car because the vandal believed he was illegally parked in a handicapped spot Saturday, DeKalb County police said.

The resident, who lives in the 3100 block of Gables Way, told police he is handicapped but did not have the sticker displayed in his car. He also said the building's management told him he was not parked in a handicapped spot.

Television swiped from Marriott hotel on Lavista Road
A 48-inch television was stolen from a Marriott hotel room on Lavista Road on Sunday, DeKalb County police said.

A hotel security officer told police the thief broke the sliding glass door in Room 165 and stole the LG TV at about 3:30am, the police report said. The hotel is at the 4000 block of Lavista Road.

TV, Xbox, clothes stolen from Mistry Creek Drive home
A $900 television, an Xbox and clothes were stolen from a Misty Creek Drive home Sunday afternoon, DeKalb County police said.

The lost items are worth about $1,300 total, and the home sits in the 3100 block of Misty Creek Drive in Decatur, the police report said. The front door had also been heavily damaged.
