City Council to Consider Allowing Vet Clinic in Office Building

The Peachtree Corners council agenda also includes a number of other items including a alcoholic beverage license and a charter amendment.

The Peachtree Corners City Council will meet on Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. for a regularly scheduled meeting.

On the agenda:

In old business:

  • Council will consider (on second read) an ordiance to amend the city's zoning map to allow for the addition of a metal recycling and auto salvage operation for a business located on Amwiler Road.
  • And also consider (on second read) an ordinance to amend the city's charter to amend the required readings to pass an ordiance.

Two action items:

  • Council will consider an application for an alcoholic beverage license application for Peachtree Growler Co, LLC. Steven Hamlet is requesting approval for a retail-package malt beverage licence to operate a business at 5450 Peachtree Parkway.
  • And Council will consider a request for a waiver from a evelopment egulations article to allow for a private gate and private streets for Peachtree Reserve, a new 16-home subdivision under construction on Bush Road.

And one First Read:

  • City Council will consider a change in condition request to allow for a veterinary clinic to operate within an office building on Peachtree Parkway. Just last week the Planning Commission voted against recommending the zoning condition be changed to allow for an animal clinic to operate in an office building.
