- A Fulton County judge overturned Georgia's ban on abortions after the six-week mark on Tuesday. Fulton County Superior Judge Robert McBurney issued the order that will allow the procedure to be performed up to about 22 weeks of pregnancy. The State of Georgia has filed an appeal with the state Supreme Court. (Subscription: AJC.com)
- U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and the Democratic Party of Georgia have filed a lawsuit seeking to reverse Georgia's ban on early voting for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Warnock will be facing Republican Herschel Walker during the state's runoff election on Dec. 6. Fulton County's Election Board has approved early voting from Sunday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 2. - Fulton County educators are encouraging students to open up about mental health impacts lingering from the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach is a restorative one that includes counseling.
