- In two weeks, you can attend a signature luncheon with the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber. The luncheon will take place on Jan. 24 at Galambos Way. You can enjoy lunch will listening to keynote speaker Mayor Andre Dickens. Registration is required and space is limited. (Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber)
- A new Planet Fitness is opening in Sandy Springs, and you can get in on the celebration. There will be a ribbon cutting event on Jan. 18, starting at 3:00 p.m. Planet Fitness will be offering promotions, gifts, and other fun surprises. The gym is located at Roswell Road. (East Cobb News)
- Sandy Springs has been rated as one of the top growth cities in the United States. While the city has seen a decline of almost 20 percent in new arrivals to the city, it still ranked 25th in the country for growth. Texas earned top marks as the state with the most growth.
