Bank Offers Reward For Robber's Conviction: Police
The bank is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the conviction of the man who robbed them at gunpoint, police say.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA — PNC Bank is offering a reward for information leading to the conviction of a bank robber, according to the Sandy Springs Police Department. On Wednesday, Feb. 6, a man robbed the bank at gunpoint, police say.
Around 9:20 a.m., the man walked into the bank at 5430 New Northside Dr., pulled out a handgun and demanded money, police say. He forced two employees to a vault and took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving.
The bank is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the robber's conviction.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 40s or 50s, about 5-foot-7 and of medium build. He was wearing a dark jacket, a ball cap and had a scar over his face.
