Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:
- The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will be meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Fulton County Government Center. The Board will review a presentation of the 2023 Legislative Agenda and updates from several county departments. County residents are invited to attend the meeting. - An overturned tractor-trailer created delays in the Sandy Springs area on Monday morning. The incident shut down all westbound lanes on Roswell Road at about 6:15 a.m. Traffic was at a complete standstill until the incident could be cleared. The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that the lanes were reopened at about 9:30 a.m. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Roswell Dance Theatre will be performing The Nutcracker this season. The performances will be at the Byers Theatre from Nov. 25 through Dec. 4. Guests will enjoy gorgeous costumes, magical scenery, beloved music, and exceptional dancing during the performances. Ticket prices range from $27 to $40. Click for ticket information.
