Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:

1. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will be meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Fulton County Government Center. The Board will review a presentation of the 2023 Legislative Agenda and updates from several county departments. County residents are invited to attend the meeting. 2. An overturned tractor-trailer created delays in the Sandy Springs area on Monday morning. The incident shut down all westbound lanes on Roswell Road at about 6:15 a.m. Traffic was at a complete standstill until the incident could be cleared. The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that the lanes were reopened at about 9:30 a.m. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
3. The Roswell Dance Theatre will be performing The Nutcracker this season. The performances will be at the Byers Theatre from Nov. 25 through Dec. 4.
