“We came here because the neighborhood has a lot of Brazilians in the area,” said manager Caio Lima, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil. His father, Alvaro Lima owns the restaurant.
The busy eatery at 8610 Roswell Road, in the old Loehmann’s shopping center, opens most days at 6:30 a.m., when folks come in for the popular pastries. “A lot of people sometimes take a big pastry; it’s breaded, deep-fried and inside is beef, chicken, or ham and cheese, depending and what they want,” Caio said.

Café Brazil also has a bustling lunch crowd. Along with an all you can eat buffet of traditional Brazilian delicacies, there's a market and raw meat counter.
The restaurant was originally located further down Roswell Road, near Dalrymple and moved to its current home in May 2011. Hours are 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Saturday; 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday.
