  1. Sandy Springs officially approved the Castleton Drive drainage contract. In 2021, the city hired an engineering firm to aid in developing plans to repair the damaged infrastructure at 6850 Castleon Drive. After a long search for the right bidder, the city council approved a $199,962 contract. (PAYWALL: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  2. The Sandy Springs Police Department celebrated the graduation of the Citizen Police Academy Class 34. The program was designed to provide residents with a chance to closely study the operations of police in the city. The 24 person, 9-week program is offered twice a year, in the spring and fall.
