Here are the top stories today in Sandy Springs:
- The Chaya Mushka Children’s House at 5180 Roswell Road was given permission to continue operations. A conditional permit has allowed the Jewish private school to operate provided that they make necessary changes to the site. The school has enrolled 120 students but will eventually enroll up to 150. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- South Carolina Sen. Lindsay Graham sought help from a federal judge to have his subpoena revoked. Graham was summoned to appear in a Fulton County court to testify in the special grand jury examining the 2020 presidential election. A Fulton judge signed the order for Graham and six other of Donald Trump's associates to appear in July or August to testify. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Sandy Springs City Council approved a plan to expand wayfinding signage throughout the city. The council approved a $258,945 budget for a contract with Signarama to undertake the project. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
