- During Tuesday's State of the City Address, Mayor Rusty Paul claims that the city is searching for a developer to expand the City Springs campus. The expansion proposal would expand it across Mount Vernon Highway. The city has already been purchasing property for the expansion. Mayor Paul reports that a Request for Qualifications will be filed this year. (ReporterNewspapers.net)
- The Fulton County Board of Health has launched its new electronic system for Women, Infant, and Children benefits. The electronic system will allow shoppers to swipe a loadable card at the grocery store. Paper vouchers will be discontinued on Oct. 23. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The Fulton County Board of Assessors has selected a finalist for the Chief Appraiser position. Roderick Conley is the sole finalist in the selection process. The Board of Commissioners will now vote on the appointment on Nov. 2. Click to review Conley's resume. (Fulton County)
