SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The companies behind the redevelopment project underway at City Springs have announced the name of the residential component that's part of the deal.

Carter and Selig Enterprises said Thursday the residential building located at City Springs will be named Aston City Springs. Additionally, a website for the project, astoncitysprings.com, is now up and running.

Aston City Springs will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and two-bedroom townhouses. Residents can expect "first-class living accommodations and access to a luxury amenity deck with a pool and private courtyard," Carter-Selig said.

The residential development is one piece of the larger City Springs development that includes a 1,000-seat Performing Arts Center, office and retail space, a 4-acre park and more than a thousand parking spaces.

Carter’s private development team has partnered with Selig Enterprises to develop the residential and retail offerings while the city of Sandy Springs has taken the lead on the public components. This public-private partnership has the common goal of "creating a new mixed-use development that employs new urbanist principles with a strong civic emphasis to create a true center for the growing city of Sandy Springs," Carter-Selig added.

Construction financing for the project is being provided by SunTrust Bank. Other private portion participants include Brasfield & Gorrie as the general contractor and RJTR as the architect. RAM Partners is providing property management services. In addition to serving as master developer, Carter is also providing program management services for the city’s portions of the development.
