Disoriented Preschool Teacher Charged With DUI, Fleeing Ga. 400 Accident

The 35-year-old Sandy Springs resident hit a median wall, struck another vehicle and ignored Alpharetta Police lights following her.

 

A disoriented preschool teacher was charged with DUI after she struck a vehicle on Ga. 400, and left the scene of the accident, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution story.

The AJC story said Sandy Springs resident Sierra Lindgren, 35, registered zero on a hand held breath test, last Saturday night, and told Alpharetta Police that had not been drinking, and was not on medication. However, she hit a median wall, struck another vehicle and ignored Alpharetta Police lights following her for more than a mile, until she reached Exit 13.

A small child was in the back seat of her vehicle, the story said. Police are awaiting blood test results, but in addition to DUI Lindgren, who teaches at the Goddard School in Alpharetta, faces child endangerment, and fleeing and attempting to elude police, among other charges.
