Document Shredding Event On Nov. 17 In Sandy Springs

This initiative allowing residents to destroy sensitive documents will be held at the Morgan Falls Athletic Fields.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Keep North Fulton Beautiful will provide residents with an opportunity to destroy sensitive documents taking up space in home offices and filing cabinets.

The organization will host a document shredding event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Morgan Falls Athletic Fields at 450 Morgan Falls Place in Sandy Springs. Please note this event will not be held at the Sandy Springs Recycling Center.

This initiative is done to help prevent identity theft by allowing citizens to shred bills, statements and other papers that may contain private and sensitive information. There is a 10-box limit per vehicle, and a $5 donation is suggested for the event.

All proceeds benefit the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Keep North Fulton Beautiful, which serves the communities of Sandy Springs and Johns Creek.
