  1. A high school senior has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a 21-year-old man at the Dunwoody Pointe Apartments. Jamari "Pee Wee" Marable, 17, turned himself in for shooting his aunt's boyfriend, Jazhae Marshall, after the two became engaged in an argument. The suspect was supposed to graduate from high school this week. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. A local family has won a major legal battle after an elderly woman died in the care of the Somerby senior living facility. Betty Perloe was stung repeatedly by fire ants, and later succumbed to the injuries sustained during the infestation. The Perloe family will look to work closely with legislators to provide more oversight in senior living facilities. (11 Alive)
  3. Sandy Springs residents will be able to voice their opinions of the fiscal year 2023 budget at City Council on June 7 and 21. The meetings will take place at the Studio Theatre at 1 Galambos Way. The proposed budget outlines $109 million in General Fund revenue. (Reporter Newspapers)
