  1. The Department of City Planning in Atlanta has introduced the first phase of a simplified permitting process, aimed at providing a central point of contact and a user-friendly portal that offers reduced wait times for permits. Customers can now submit their applications into one permitting portal using a menu of application types, links to city maps, and ordinances. Future phases of the project will include a central portal for all city agencies involved in the permitting process and online application review to improve customer convenience and reduce printing costs. A Korean-inspired bakery and sandwich shop called Leftie Lee’s will be coming to the Olive and Pine complex in Avondale Estates, about 20 miles away.
