- Sandy Springs residents have been invited to comment on the Falcon Chase Pond and Pipe Rehabilitation project. The project will seek to rehabilitate the existing pond. The public will have until July 21 to submit their opinions regarding the project. (Paywall: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- McDaniel brothers Andy and Daniel, founders of the Slope BBQ restaurant, have renamed their business McDaniel's QN2. The rebranding comes after 20 years of serving tasty barbecue to the community. The brothers are natives of Sandy Springs. (Reporter Newspapers)
- An additional relative of a Fulton County Jail inmate has come forward to describe their experience with an extortion scheme within the jail. The latest witness, a grandmother, described how her grandson was asking some of the large sums of money he was being sent to be wired to an account that did not belong to him. The grandmother sent three payments in the sum of $200 out of fear for her grandson's safety. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
