- The Sandy Springs Police Department has confirmed that a fiery crash on I-285 has resulted in a fatality. The incident occurred on the shoulder of the westbound lanes shortly before New Northside Drive on Tuesday. The fire was caused when a tractor hauling scrap metal and magnesium was rear-ended. - The closing arguments in the trial of an alleged road rage death have been made. The jury is currently deliberating on felony charges for Atlanta lawyer Bryan Schmitt. He has been accused of killing Hamid Jahangard with his car in response to a golf ball being allegedly thrown at his car. (CBS 46)
- Former President Donald Trump spoke out against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on Monday afternoon in a statement. Trump has called Willis' investigation into alleged election interference a "strictly political witch hunt." He also called Atlanta "number 1 in the country in murders and heinous crimes." (CBS 46)
