Here are the top stories in Sandy Springs today:

  1. A documentarian who had been working for former President Donald Trump was reportedly subpoenaed to testify at Fulton County's special grand jury regarding the 2020 election. Alex Holder has testified for the U.S. House of Representatives Jan. 6 Committee. Holder is the latest of a handful of high-profile names who have or will have to testify. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labatt promised to put an end to the alleged violent coercion occurring inside the Fulton County Jail. Families with relatives inside the jail have called for action after their relatives had apparently been threatened with violence for cash. At least eight inmates are believed to be responsible. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  3. Monday saw 2.4 inches of rainfall in Atlanta, setting a single-day record. Prior to Monday, a below average amount of only 2.59 inches had fallen in the month of June. (CBS 46 News)
