Flower Child Opens Oct. 17 In Sandy Springs

A portion of the proceeds from opening day at the restaurant will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Flower Child, a colorful and health-conscious eatery serving seasonally driven, nourishing and soul-satisfying fare, will open its Sandy Springs location on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Located at City Springs, the multi-use project in the heart of downtown Sandy Springs, the opening marks Flower Child’s second Georgia restaurant and joins its Buckhead location, which debuted at Shops Around Lenox in the summer.

In celebration of its opening day, Flower Child will team up with local florist Adaptation Floral Design to give away mini flower bouquets to visitors at the restaurant throughout the day. King of Pops will also be offering complimentary and colorful Strawberry Lemonade, Fresh Peach and Blueberry Lemonade fruit pops to enjoy alongside Flower Child’s menu of made-from-scratch starters, salads, plates, wraps and bowls. A portion of proceeds from opening day will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Flower Child’s Sandy Springs location will offer a fresh menu of nutritious dishes centered upon seasonal vegetables and fruits, whole grains and lean proteins. Guests can expect a selection of food and drink offerings, with favorites including the Mother Earth Bowl with ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onions, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette and hemp seed, or Vegan Poke Bowl with marinated beet, avocado, pickled mushroom, cucumber, radish, wasabi pea, smoked dulse, brown rice and spicy ponzu.

Sweet and decadent gluten-free treats will round out the food menu, alongside a refreshing drink list of seasonal lemonades, kombucha and organic coffee on tap, daily fresh pressed juices, curated wines and local craft beers. The restaurant highlights options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free lifestyles, among others.

The 3,500-square-foot establishment will an airy, open atmosphere reminiscent of a modern bohemian abode with seating for 78 guests, while an outdoor patio with around 1,300 additional square feet will accommodate seating for 82.
