Former MLB Player Receives Humanitarian Award at Sandy Springs Rotary Gala

Former MLB player C.J. Stewart was awarded the 2013 Rotary Club of Sandy Springs Humanitarian Award, last Saturday.

 

Former MLB player C.J. Stewart was awarded the 2013 Rotary Club of Sandy Springs Humanitarian Award, last Saturday.

In 2007, Stewart and his wife Kelli started a baseball program called L.E.A.D. in Atlanta Public Schools that instills a pursuit of higher education and love of the game

About 160 attended the event at the Dunwoody Country Club, including the Mayor Eva Galambos, Oliver Porter and Rusty Paul.
