Free Breakfast Continues at New Cafe
Donations from patrons at Another Broken Egg benefit three charities including Sandy Springs-based Community Assistance Center on Saturday.

Another Broken Egg Café continues its free breakfast meals through Saturday at Perimeter Village Shopping Center.
Donations from patrons over a three-day period benefit three local non-profits. Today’s donations go to the Dunwoody Nature Center. Saturday’s benefit Sandy Springs-based Community Assistance Center. On Thursday, donations went to the Spruill Center for the Arts.

“If you want to leave $1 that’s fine. If you want to leave $100, we love that too,” said Felicity Hall, general manager for the new Dunwoody cafe.
Hall said she researched the charities in the area. “I certainly wanted to support the community we are in,” she added.

Another Broken Egg is a Creole-style franchise owned by Double R Restaurant Group, based in Lafayette, La. Dunwoody is their third metro Atlanta location. Since last fall, locations have also opened in Vinings and Alpharetta.
In Dunwoody, Diners will eat for free during Another Broken Egg Cafe’s soft opening. Call for reservations at 678-786-9344.
Hall expects each day of free meals to be increasingly busy. Staff is planning for 300 to 355 people on Saturday, she said.
The restaurant’s grand opening is Monday. Its 130 different menu choices include six varieties of Eggs Benedict, 11 different omelets, signature Bananas Foster over Belgian waffles, French toast or buttermilk pancakes, along with distinctive burgers and fresh salads.
Hours are 7 a.m.-2 p.m., daily. Another Broken Egg is located at 4745 Ashford Dunwoody Road in the former Borders book store space.
