- In-person advance voting options throughout Fulton County end on Friday. Registered voters will be able to line up at their local voting location between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Refer to this article to locate a neighborhood voting center near you. (Patch)
- Dunwoody's American Rescue Plan and Grants Committee held a preliminary meeting to discuss how to spend the city’s American Rescue Plan funding. The city met on May 13, to discuss the federal economic stimulus bill, meant to help the country recover from negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The committee also discussed the possibility of using these funds on a Social Services Incubator. (Reporter Newspapers)
- Brookhaven's Suthers Center has persevered through the pandemic, and have continued to provide meaningful volunteer work. On Thursday mornings, volunteers meet at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church to pack up proteins, fruits, vegetables, and other essentials to hand out to those in need. The Suthers Center is named for a former priest at St. Martin’s, Father Derwent Suthers. (Reporter Newspapers)
