  1. A former Fulton County detention officer has been accused of using excessive force against a detainee. Monique Clark, 31, was terminated by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and charged with aggravated assault, among other charges, after the alleged incident on Jun. 5. The Alpharetta Police Department said it will release body cam footage of the incident once an internal affairs investigation has been conducted. (Atlanta Patch)
  2. Members of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) traveled to Miami earlier this week to prepare in the event that former President Donald Trump is charged in the county. The county's District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to announce in the coming weeks whether or not charges will be filed against the former president for possible interference during Georgia's 2020 election. Members of the FCSO were reportedly sent to Miami to observe security surrounding Trump's court appearance there. (WSB-TV)
  3. Anderson East will perform live at City Green tomorrow, Jun. 16, at 7:30 p.m. The band Slow Parade will also perform as the opening act. The concert is free to all community members, and lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Visit Sandy Springs via Instagram)
