Haunted Sandy Springs On Oct. 26 At Heritage Green

This free event includes live music, a cemetery tour, food, face painting and a movie screening

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Heritage Sandy Springs is preparing for the return of Haunted Sandy Springs, a night of eerie entertainment to be held Friday, Oct. 26 in the heart of the city. This free public event runs from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Heritage Green where guests can enjoy live music, psychic readings, fire pit and s’mores bar, face painting, and a special movie screening of "Hocus Pocus."

Be sure to bring your appetite along to this fun event, as S & J's Woodfired Pizza will be ready to satisfy your cravings. Adults can also enjoy a spirited cocktail from J.R. Revelry. This year’s event will also feature a costume contest with cash prizes in three categories. Costume or no costume, everyone will benefit from $2 and $4 drink specials. Beverage proceeds benefit the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum.

The most daring of visitors can take a haunted hike on one of the cemetery tours, featuring North Springs Charter School’s Thespian Troupe #4389. Tours include brand new content from previous years, last 60 minutes, and are limited to 18 per group. Some mature content; ages 16+ recommended. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Due to popular demand, Heritage Sandy Springs has added a seventh tour beginning at 9:30 p.m., allowing brave souls to ditch the history and partake in the most haunted tour to-date. All tours will begin in the lower level of the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum. Tickets range from $15 to $35 per person. There are six time slots to choose from: 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Please note: tour tickets are NOT required to attend the free festivities in the park, but RSVPs are requested.

Haunted Sandy Springs is made possible in partnership with the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church and is sponsored by Sandy Springs Chapel and J.R. Revelry Bourbon. The Heritage Sandy Springs Museum is located at 6075 Sandy Springs Circle. Free parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated lots.
