1. Clark's Christmas Kids annual donation drive for Georgia foster children raised $1.1 million. The WSB radio station down the road in Roswell hosted the in-person event. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
2. Nearby Roswell recently applied for a Save America's Treasures grant. If approved, the $750,000 grant would go towards renovations for Mimosa Hall. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
3. A boy scout troop down the road in Metro Atlanta laid holiday wreaths on veterans' graves at the Sugar Hill Cemetery. The tradition is part of a nonprofit called Wreaths Across America. (11Alive.com WXIA)
