- An innovative adult day center has opened its doors in Sandy Springs. The center offers experiential memory and cognitive care Monday through Friday. Town Square is a 12,000-square-foot facility that resembles a mid-century American town. It has 13 storefronts, a 1950's diner, a theater, a music room, a library, and an exercise studio. - Fulton County residents are worried about a fire at a toxic landfill in Metro Atlanta. The residents claim that the fire is putting their health at risk. The billowing smoke can be seen in South Fulton. The fire first broke out at the landfill on Bishop Road four years ago. The EPA has identified high levels of six chemicals at the landfill. (WSBTV)
- A group of residents has filed a discrimination lawsuit against Trilith Studios in Fulton County Superior Court. The residents allege they experienced racial discrimination by the studio's management and were faced with retaliation when they raised concerns. Trilith Studios has released a statement claiming that the residents never had any relationship with the studio and that the lawsuit will be handled in the "appropriate forum." (MyPlainview)
