  1. The Sandy Springs Police Department assisted Georgia State Patrol with shutting down Abernathy Road on Friday afternoon. The shutdown was necessary after a K9 unit was shot in the line of duty. The K-9 Figo was rushed to an emergency vet in Sandy Springs by a Georgia State Patrol helicopter where he ultimately passed away. (11 Alive)
  2. Sandy Springs will be getting a Tesla Supercharger location. The electric vehicle charging station will be built at 1570 Holcomb Bridge Road. The new Sandy Springs location is one of five Georgia locations that the company released. The expansion plans have not been finalized by the company and are subject to change. (Drive Tesla Canada)
  3. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis reports that she hopes to begin issuing indictments in the investigation to overturn the 2020 election as early as December. Willis also stated that her investigation will go quiet starting this next week to avoid influencing the upcoming Nov. 8 election. Willis might pursue RICO charges in the investigation. (CNN.com)
