  1. The last Sandy Springs Market of the year will be on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 9:00 a.m. As always, dogs are welcome to attend but must stay off the grass, landscape beds, and fountain. Parking for the market is available on surface streets and in the parking deck. Click for a list of participating vendors. (City of Sandy Springs)
  2. Sandy Springs projects $350 million in Local Option Sales Tax revenue over the course of the next ten years. The new projection takes into account the recent agreement between the city and Fulton County. The city's portion of LOST revenue will decrease steadily while the county's portion increases. (Reporter Newspapers + Atlanta Intown)
  3. Some Fulton County residents have had to complete temporary ballots due to their voter eligibility being challenged. The state's recent election law that allows voters to challenge an unlimited number of voter registrations has been the source of the issue. About 95 percent of the eligibility challenges have been dismissed. Fulton County residents can check the status of their voter registration at this link. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
