Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:

  1. The Sandy Springs Fire Department responded to a massive home fire on Monday morning. The fire was on Powers Ferry Road. The home's roof and chimney were engulfed in flames. Thankfully, nobody was injured during the incident. The department's investigators are currently working to determine the fire's cause. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. Fulton County's early voting continues through Nov. 4. Voters can cast ballots Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Early voting will also be offered on Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 30.   3. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney will be hearing testimony about the state's abortion ban today. The testimony began yesterday. Oct. 24. The lawsuit in question is between the ACLU, a group of physicians, reproductive healthcare advocates, and the State of Georgia. The state's ban would make most abortions illegal after a "detectable human heartbeat" is present. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
