Monday Essentials: Happy Hour Activities, Sports and Foodie Delights in Week Ahead

- Soccer Camp. The Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department will host a one-week GOALSoccer Camp for youth ages 6-18 to learn fundamental skills and team play.
- SSPC Business After Hours. Mix and mingle with business leaders from the Powers Ferry Landing area of Sandy Springs. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks while networking with Chamber members.
- Singing Sister Group von Grey. The classically trained indie-folk band von Grey will perform for the happy hour concert series, Rhythm & Brews, on Tuesday at Heritage Green in Sandy Springs.
- Movin’ Groovin’ Mornings. A children’s series held every Wednesday morning in June from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Designed for children ages 3 to 10, Movin’ Groovin’ Mornings offers fun and engaging activities including dance, music, storytelling, puppets, and even science experiments. Free at Heritage Green on The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, 6110 Bluestone Road.
- Toastmasters Weekly Meeting. Northwest Perimeter Toastmasters meets at noon, Wednesdays, at One Concourse Parkway, Suite 140. Attendees network personally and professionally while developing communication and leadership skills. - Dunwoody Restuarant Week. Foodies can experience Dunwoody restaurants at lower prices this week. McKendrick’s Steakhouse, Marlow’s Tavern, McCormick & Schmick's, Firebird and several other eateries will offer prix fixe menus: $10 -$15 for lunch; $20-$30 for dinner.
