- Fulton County residents in search of monkeypox vaccines have grown frustrated due to a number of cancelled appointments. The Fulton County Board of Health issued a statement regarding a registration link that was sent out prematurely. The addition of more vaccinations comes in the wake of the state's case count approaching 100. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Representatives from Fulton County's cities met to discuss a potential increase of the local option sales tax. The tax currently sits at 5%, and the local board seeks to increase it to 35%. Bianca Motley Broom, mayor of College Park, said the proposal was "a devastating blow" to essential services. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis requested that Georgia's heartbeat law be sent to lower courts. Willis appealed to the United States Court of Appeals. (WRDW)
